The Liebster Award

Liebster Award
Today is all about the Tags as the lovely Emily from Emily Maltby nominated me to do the Libster Award.
I’m very flattered Emily, thank you!

There are a few rules which are as follows:

1. Mention the blogger who tagged you and thank them.
2. Answer the 11 questions you’ve been asked.
3. Nominate 11 new bloggers and tag them.
4. Give them 11 questions to answer.
5. Notify your nominees.
Here are the questions Emily asked:
1) Jeans or skirts?
Jeans 100%! I’d say I wear jeans 6 out of the 7 days of the week!
2) Favourite make-up item?
If you know much about me, you’ll know I’m not as into make up as a lot of people – I am aiming to get better at it though!
I wouldn’t say I have a favourite specific item but if I could only have one thing it would be mascara.
3) Where has your favourite holiday been?
Disneyland of course!!! No thought even needed for that one.
4) If you could have happiness and be poor or be lonely and rich what would you choose?
As much as I’d love to be rich and be able to buy all the luxuries I’d like, I wouldn’t want to be lonely – it’s true when they say money can’t buy happiness, I’ve seen it happen first hand.
I’d definitely much rather be poor and happy as I personally think that if you have happiness, then you’re already rich.
5) If you had the story of your life in front of you, which page would you read first?
Ooh, this is a good one!
Hm, difficult but I think I’d read and find out who I marry!
6) Sweet of savoury?
I have the hugest sweet tooth going. I could eat chocolate every single minute of the day I just love it!
I also absolutely die for anything salted caramel or sticky toffee flavoured!
Mmmm, now I’m hungry and fancy some salted caramel, sticky toffee chocolate!
7) Most important thing to you in the world?
My best friend, boyfriend and family.
I wouldn’t change my crazy stupid family for the world, they really are the best family ever.
I also wouldn’t change my boyfriend or best friend who have always stuck by me no matter what.
Also… cheating here, but Disney is also extremely important to me.
8) What would you do in your 15 minutes of fame?
Honestly? Buy as much stuff as I could whilst I had the money haha – materialistic or what?!
9) Favourite clothing and cosmetic brand?
Favourite clothing brand would either be River Island or Topshop, I think River Island narrowly beats Topshop.
I honestly couldn’t say what my favourite cosmetic brand is as I genuinely do not wear make up often enough.
10) Would you ever get any form of plastic surgery?
Yep! I would love to get my boobs done – all my sisters have apart from one and my younger one so it’s sort of like a family tradition ha ha.
However, I don’t think my boyfriend would be too happy.
11) What is the blog post you are most proud of?
I think the blog post I am most proud of would have to be My Daily Make-Up – goes against what I’ve been saying about make up doesn’t it ha ha.
The reason I am most proud of it though is because I like the photography I done for it.
My Nominees are:
Elizabeth | itslizi
My 11 questions are:
1. What is your favourite animal and why?
2. What is your dream career and why?
3. Describe yourself in three words.
4. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
5. If you could meet any famous/influential person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
6. Favourite clothing brand?
7. Dogs or cats?
8. What would your idea of a perfect day be?
9. Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter?
10. Favourite Disney film?
11. If you could live as one person for a day, who would it be and why?
I hope you enjoyed reading my answers and I look forward to my nominees answering mine!

Love/Hate Tag

Once again, the lovely Elizabeth tagged me to this, the Love/Hate Tag. I thought it was a nice way for you to get to know me a little bit more! You can read Elizabeth’s post here, it’s a gooden.

10 Things That I Love

  1. Well let’s just start with the obvious, Disney of course!
  2. My best friend and boyfriend George, as much as he sometimes irritates the crap out of me…
  3. Elephants. I think they’re such beautiful and majestic animals and if I could, I’d have my own Elephant named Nelly.
  4. Dalmatians. I have always loved Dalmatians since I first watched 101 Dalmatians when I was little. Everything I had was Dalmatian themed and my life will only be complete when I have one of my own.
  5. Chocolate. I’m trying to stay away from it but boy do I love chocolate! I’m definitely a chocolate over sweets kind of gal.
  6. Robert Pattinson. So a few years ago, I was ROBSESSED as we used to call it in the fandom, yep, the fandom! I had a dedicated Twitter to the wonderful man and a Tumblr! Whilst I’ve grown out of the obsessed stage, I still do love me a bit of R Pattz.
  7. Peter Pan. If you didn’t know, Peter Pan is my one of my favourite movies. I could recite the whole film.
  8. My family, of course. I have a large family, I’m one of nine and I have eleven nieces and nephews, and we’re all very tight night. I especially love (although I perhaps shouldn’t say this) my niece Kelsie, who is in fact 11 days older than me and has been my best friend since birth. I honestly do not know what I’d do without her.
  9. Mince Pies. Oh my goodness. I could honestly eat Mince Pies every single day and never get sick of them.
  10. Being happy. This is a given no?
10 Things That I Hate
  1. When my contact lenses irritate me all day.
  2. Lasagna. No just no. It’s wrong and disgusting.
  3. Rude people. How hard is it to have basic manners?!
  4. People who do not think mental illnesses are real. You really think I want to be having another panic attack?!
  5. People who think you can’t love and appreciate Disney past the age of 10. THERE’S NOT AN AGE LIMIT OKAY!
  6. Rarely being able to see my best friend since she moved away.
  7. Slow drivers.
  8. Slow walkers. Both of these infuriate me to no end.
  9. I can’t live in Disneyland Paris. Why can’t I?! please!!!
  10. Not knowing where my life is headed. It’s exciting but I also slightly hate it.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post!
What are a few things you love and hate?

The Christmas Tag

The lovely Elizabeth tagged me to do this Christmas tag and of course I couldn’t decline, as I love a good tag as much as the next person, and of course I love Christmas too!
I thought I’d include a throw back photo of when I was in 9 Years Old and visited the real Father Christmas – no really! We visited Lapland for the day, which is the home of the real Father Christmas, it was one of the best days of my life!

1. What one word to describes how excited you are for Christmas?
Very, although I don’t feel as festive this year compared to the past…

2. What’s the best present you have ever been given, and why?
I have received many presents over the years and obviously I can’t remember them all, although I greatly appreciate all the presents I’ve got, especially when they’re something thoughtful or that I’d been wishing for for ages. One of the best presents I remember being given was my yorkshire terrier cross jack russell puppy, she was so cute!
3. What’s the worst present you have ever been given, and why?
I can’t say I distinctively remember receiving a really bad present, but we all receive those gifts that we’re a bit like ‘eh’ when we open them, because they’re just a bit useless…
4. What’s your favourite Christmas song?
One Christmas song?! Oh I couldn’t possibly choose! I love Michael Buble’s Christmas album, who doesn’t! As well as many other Christmas songs – I’ve got a whole playlist on my phone.
5. What’s you favourite Christmas film?
I love Elf, I only actually watched it properly last year and since then I have loved it. I also really love Love Actually, I feel like it’s such a classic Christmas film, as well as The Holiday!
6. How good are you at wrapping presents?
Not great! I love wrapping presents but the end product is never quite what I imagine in my head.
7. If you could rename one of Santa’s Reindeer, what would you name it?
Hmm, difficult… definitely something Disney, I’m liking Thumper!
8. What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
Of course it’s lovely to receive presents, don’t even pretend it’s not, but the best thing about Christmas is having a well deserved rest and spending quality time with family! I love that for a few days from Christmas to New Year, there’s nothing to worry about, apart from enjoying yourself and seeing friends and family.

The Sweater Weather Tag

Good Afternoon!
Today I did plan to post an October Favourites, but thanks to the fact I work long days and it gets dark before I get home, I haven’t been able to get any shots, so for that I am sorry.
I know I have done a few non-fashion posts recently, but I am going to dedicate Sunday to taking pictures for here, now that I can seeing as I don’t work Sunday’s, yippee!
I saw I had been tagged in this ‘Sweater Weather Tag’, by of course the lovely Elizabeth, who’s blog you can find here.

What’s your favourite candle scent?
I love traditional Vanilla scents, as well as ‘Black Cherry’ and other berry smelling scents! Apart from Strawberry, no thank you!

Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate?
I rarely drink coffee, unless I really need a pick me up, the same as hot chocolate. And I only drink Green Tea, I hate the taste of traditional tea.

What’s your best fragrance for Autumn?
I’m not one to switch up my fragrances based on the time of year, I just wear whatever perfume I have.
At the moment I change between CK Eternity Aqua, CK Eternity Summer and Paco Robanne Lady Million.

What’s your favourite Thanksgiving food?
I live in England so I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving. Although when the weather gets warmer, I can’t resist chocolate.

What’s your most worn sweater?
I don’t really have a most worn jumper, I have so many that I just wear them on rotation.

Football games or jumping in leaf piles?
I’d have to say jumping in leaf piles! I don’t particularly like watching football.

What’s your favourite type of pie?
I can’t really say I’m a fan of pie I’m afraid.

What is Autumn weather like where you live?
I live in England and Autumn is my second favourite season (narrowly beaten by Spring).
Most days the weather is quite chilly and rainy, which although makes for a horrible day to go out walking in, it makes a great day to snuggle and watch films.

Which make-up trend do you prefer, dark lips or winged liner?
Dark lips, simply because I cannot, for the life of me do eyeliner, let alone winged eyeliner!

What song really gets you into the Autumn spirit?
I can’t say there is really a song that get’s me into the Autumn spirit…

Is Pumpkin Spice worth the hype?
I’ve tried it and I much prefer cinnamon! But it’s a personal preference I guess.

What’s your favourite Autumn TV Show?
Again, there isn’t a TV show I particularly watch just in Autumn so I couldn’t say I have a favourite. But I am a sucker for anything reality tv, don’t judge me…

Skinny Jeans or Leggings?
Skinny jeans all the way! I wear skinny jeans nearly every single day of the week! I do however love a good pair of thick leggings.

Combat Boots or Uggs?
I think I’d have to say combat boots, although Uggs are so comfy and warm

Halloween – Yay or Nay?
I do like Halloween, I went out clubbing this Halloween, but I can’t say I’d be particularly bothered if it didn’t exist. Christmas on the other hand…

Autumn Mornings or Evenings?
I leave my house at 5.45 in the morning and I can tell you it isn’t nice leaving for work when it is still pitch black outside, however, there is something special about the crispness of an Autumn Morning and watching the sunrise, the sky is always such a lovely colour when the sun is rising in Autumn.
However, I honestly don’t think you can beat a cosy evening indoors when it’s Autumn.

What do you think about Black Friday?
I’ve never taken part in Black Friday as it has only just become a ‘thing’ in the UK, and it still isn’t as mad as it is in America.
I love the idea of it, getting all your Christmas presents for a barginous price, I mean who wouldn’t want to?
However, I have seen videos and pictures of how manic some places are in America, and I definitely wouldn’t want to be involved in that!

One Autumn 2015 trend you love?
I’ve had a real love for everything tan/camel/beige, as well as turtle necks (which I’ve loved my whole life) and capes, I’m still yet to find myself the perfect cape!

That’s it for the Sweater Weather Tag.
Thank you to Elizabeth for tagging me to do it, I do love a good tag!
If you do this tag, make sure you let me know as I’d love to see everyone else’s answers.
Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter and Instagram to stay updated with me throughout the week.
