Walking In A Winter Wonderland

I know! I know! It’s not Christmas anymore so would I please shh up about it now!

I just wanted to share one last dose of Christmas spirit before we forget about it all for another year, waaa.

These photos were actually taken a little while ago, at the beginning of December, when my boyfriend and I visited Winter Wonderland.

I don’t know about you but I just love visiting Winter Wonderland in the lead up to Christmas.

It makes me feel so festive and excited for Christmas.

As well as just being a nice day out with family, friends or your other half.

We also took a walk through Oxford Street to see all the pretty Christmas lights.

I just love seeing all the stores and streets decorated for Christmas.

If you’re ever in London around Christmas time I would definitely recommend taking a trip to Winter Wonderland.

It’s free to get in and is full of rides to go on (which you do have to pay for) and yummmmmmy food to eat!

I love buying some candied nuts – they’re my absolute favourite!!
I have to resist not eating them all before I even get home.

Can you tell how excited I was to be there?!

What Does 2017 Hold?

An official Happy New Year to you now that it is actually 2017!

I say that because in my last post I said happy new year but it was only December 30th.

Today I wanted to tell you about a few things I’m looking forward to in 2017 and some things I’d like to achieve.

The first thing I’m looking forward to is DRAKE!! I am so excited to be seeing Drake with my boyfriend in February!!

Next, I am going to another concert for The XX, again, with my boyfriend in March, he bought me tickets for Christmas, the cutie!

The last major thing I have planned at the moment to do this year is DISNEY!! Yes, I am going to Disneyland Paris is June, yet again, with my boyfriend (he’s my bestie okay)! We’re staying in France for a total of 5 days, we’re going to Disneyland for 3 days and the Paris for 1 or 2 days – we haven’t quite decided yet!

Also, 2017 is the year I am finalllly a REAL adult!!
I am 20 this year, wooo, onto real life adult hood I guess?!

I love this Walt Disney Quote, I just think it is so true, whatever you put your mind to you can do.

A few things I would like to do this year are:-

Visit somewhere with my niece in April. Last year we went to Amsterdam and it was aaaamazing (I have three posts on it here, here and here). This year we’ve been thinking about somewhere different, possibly Italy, so if you have any suggestions of somewhere touristy we could go for a long weekend, do let me know!

I’d also like to visit Efteling which is a wicked looking theme park in Netherlands. My boyfriend and I spoke about visiting Efteling last year but it never really happened, so I’d really love it to happen this year.

This year I’ll be finishing my first year of uni so I’d like to ideally finish with a first.

I’d like to be in the fittest shape I’ve ever been in.
I’m really motivated to get extremely fit and toned – toned to the point where there’s only muscle on me!
I think I could definitely achieve this if I put my mind to it and work hard – exercising lots and eating clean.

A weird one, but I’d like to get better at speaking to people.
I’m not always great with starting conversations with people, I can be a bit awkward, so I’d really like to work on that and get better.

Lastly, I know I said this last year, but I really do want to make more effort with my blog.
As well as interacting more with other bloggers!
Hit me upppp if you wanna talk!!

I generally would just like to spend more time actually doings things (sounds weird but I know what I mean), as well as travelling and just living a happier, healthier life!
I’d also like to spend my money less on materialistic items and more on experiences and the people I love.

That’s all I can think of for now!

What are you hoping to achieve this year?!

Reflection…

HAPPY NEW YEAR! HERE’S TO 2017, WAHOOO!

Okay, enough with the corny! Let’s get into what I’m reaaally here for!!
I thought it would be a good idea to look back at my post from this time last year where I listed my resolutions for 2016 and see how many I actually achieved…

I had seven resolutions for 2016 which were:

  1. Stop biting my nails – I actually managed to achieve this!! Finally, after 19 years, I have stopped biting my nails!! They’re very weak at the moment, so they’re taking their time to grow, but I am so happy to have finally stopped biting them.
  2. Try harder with my blog – Well, at the beginning of the year I tried very hard with my blog, but as you can see, over the past few months, I really have let it slide.
  3. Be fit & healthy – I have been fit and healthy over the majority of the year, although, slipping up a little bit. Like, right now, I’ve been a right unhealthy slob over Christmas!!
  4. Be more organised – I feel like I have achieved this to an extent. Of course, there is always room for improvement!
  5. Be more chilled – I’ve definitely achieved this. At the beginning of this year I was a very highly strung person, which I admit, I still am, but I have definitely chilled a lot more out. I take things as they come and try not to stress so much about the little things anymore.
  6. Be more confident – I think I have achieved this to a degree. I could definitely work on being more confident. But I feel like I’ve got slightly better.
  7. Be happy – yep, I’ve achieved this! I am such a happier person than I was throughout 2015.

Onto a few things that have made me happy this year… (this is in no particular order!!)

  1. This guy. *bleeeuurrghhh cringey* hey ho! I don’t mention him much on here, but, this is George and he has been part of my life for the past 5 years, my boyfriend and best friend. Admittedly, I definitely nag him too much (I’m sorry) but he’s the best and I wouldn’t change him for the world!

2. Seeing Justin Bieber with my niece thanks to George! He bought the tickets for Christmas 2015 and it was sooo good!! There’s a post about it here.

3. Finally getting myself a professionally designed blog header! Thank you to Jemma from Dork Face.
I love that it has all the little things on it that I love, Dalmatians, Elephants, Handbags, Paris, Macaroons, Peter Pan and Glitter!!

4. Visiting The Crazy Bear Hotel with my favourite guy. George booked for us both to go there for my birthday this year. It was so lovely. There’s a huuuuge post about it here. I would so love to go again!! *hint hint*

5. One of my older sisters finally got married and I was lucky enough to be her bridesmaid! It went by in such a whirlwind but it was amazing.

6. Maga! Maga! Maga-f**king-luf!! This summer I finally went on my first girls holiday with four of my friends. It was sooo good and we even made friends!! Ha-ha! I sooo wish I could go back again.

7. Finally, my niece and I visited the beautiful city of Amsterdam. It was one of the best weekends of my entire life!! In fact, I wrote three posts about it which you can read here, here and here.

That’s it for my round up of 2016 and I hope you enjoyed!!
2016 has been a fantastic year for me personally! Amongst the things mentioned above, I also got a new car, an Audi A3!! Which has been a dream of mine for so long!! AND I started a part time uni course!!

Stay tuned as I’ll be writing a looking forward to 2017 post in the next couple of days.

Have a Happy New Year and Best Wishes for 2017!!

Let’s Tie The Knot!

How was your Christmas?! I hope it was fantaaaaabulous!!

Technically, I can’t comment on my Christmas yet, as I’m writing this two days before Christmas, cheeeeeky aye.

Ha! Did I trick you with the title of the post?! I’m not reeeaaally getting married. I was just referencing my top muhahaha, sorry kidsss!!

Would you look at that, another #OOTD post coming at yaaaa, that’s two in the past week oioi!!

This was actually shot probably a month or so ago, it’s taken me that long to post it, woooooppppss!!

I’ve become so bad at blogging, which makes me so sad, I really do need to get back into it.

As I mentioned in my #OOTD post last week, I just loooove me a pair of ripped jeans and these are no exception.

They are a little tooooo ripped for the colder weather, as jeans aren’t exactly the warmest of clothes and putting that amount of rips in them, makes them veerrry chilly!!

Nevertheless, I’ll still probably brave the cold and wear them anyway, plus!! wearing my OTK boots makes them a little warmer anyway!

Can’t You Afford A New Pair Of Jeans Alice?

My Dad thinks he is sooo funny every time he cracks ^^THAT^^ joke!!

I threw on this outfit the other day for a casual day with my niece and little sister and loooved it.

I just felt so comfortable but still chic so I dragged my little photography, a.k.a. my little brother outside to take some snaaappps for me.

You can see a sneaky little part of my NEWWW car oioi!!

I am soo in love with my little baby, she’s a brand new Audi A3, who I have named ‘Effie’.

I’ve had her for almost a month now and I am still so happy with her.

It’s such a change from my first car, a Clio!!

Unfortunately, it’s a little bit tooo chilly now to wear ripped jeans which makes me sad!!

Ripped jeans are seriously my favourite, they’re just so effortless and are an easy way to make a plain jain outfit, that bit more interesting.

Can you believe it’s nearly Christmas?! Madness heh?!

I know it sounds so cliche but I honestly can’t believe just how quick this year has gone by. It feels like Christmas 2015 was only a few weeks ago!!

I don’t feel at all Christmas which is sooo annoying for me because Christmas is my favvvve time of the year. I’m currently sat with my fairy lights on watching one of my all time favourite films, The Holiday, in the hope of feeling that bit more Christmassy!!
