Disney Store Wish List

Today I have taken a lot of inspiration from Elizabeth who’s blog I love and twitter I may occasionally stalk – in a good way of course!
She regularly posts different Disney Wish Lists and I loved seeing what she put in them, so thought, why not do my own?
I have decided to only feature products from the Disney Store, however in the future I will definitely do more Disney wish lists from a variety of shops.

So… You may notice I love mugs, let’s just get it out in the open! Yes, I love mugs, I drink lots and lots of green tea so I need a sufficient mug to drink it from… So yes there may be three mugs in this wishlist… Don’t judge me!

alice in wonderland mug

So let’s begin with a mug then! I love this Alice In Wonderland Mug.
It’s blue which is my favourite colour, it’s Alice In Wonderland themed (I’ve always had a thing for Alice In Wonderland, yes because of the matching names) AND it’s a huge mug!
There is nothing better than snuggling up to watch the TV with a nice big mug of your favourite hot drink!
minnie dressing gown

Okay, I may also have another obsession, dressing gowns! I own over 10 dressing gowns!
They’re just the comfiest things and as soon as Autumn hits I am instantly in one of them.
I absolutely adore this Minnie Mouse Dressing Gown, with the cute ears on the hood, the different Minnie Mouse details over it and the fact that it just looks so soft.
I think I may actually put this on my Christmas List (mum I hope you’re reading this!) and I can guarantee if I got this you would not be able to get me out of it.

minnie personalised mug So I have already asked my mum if she will get me this Minnie Mouse Mug for Christmas.
It’s another mug, yes, but it’s not just any mug! You can get it personalised which I absolutely l
Iove the idea of.I

princess snow globe

Isn’t this Princess Snow Globe just gorgeous?
I love how pretty it is and think it would look so lovely on a shelf in my bedroom.
As well as the fact it plays music, meaning I can dance around to lovely Princess music!minnie phone case
I actually need a new phone case for my iPhone, and I love this Minnie Mouse Phone Case.
I already have a couple of Disney case for my iPhone, but I also love this one.
I especially like the fact that the bow sticks out which makes it 3D, as well as it being holographic, meaning Minnie Mouse gives you a little wink when you move it!

minnie china muyg Last mug of the wishlist! Another Minnie Mouse Mug.
I love that the detail of this mug, I think it is so pretty and it is different to the normal Minnie Mouse merchandise.
It is also an especially large mug (which I really do love Disney for), so again it’s the perfect mug for having a cuppa in! mickey and minnie mouse slippers

The last thing on my Disney Store wish list is this cute pair of Minnie and Mickey Mouse Slippers.
Who doesn’t love a comfy pair of slippers for the winter? Especially if they’re Disney themed! These ones looks so cosy too!

That’s it for my Disney Store Wish List!
I’m going to start featuring more Disney Themed posts on my blog, because I really do love it!

How To Stay Healthy In An Office Job

Today I thought I’d write a post about how to stay healthy when you’re working in an office job.
I myself work in an office and I know it can be hard to eat well if you don’t prepare properly.
Just a quick disclaimer, I am in no way claiming to be a fitness and eating expert, these are simply some things I’ve learned whilst working, which I thought I’d put out there for you to read.

The first thing I will say is that preparation is key!
Get into the habit of making your lunch the night before. This will stop you from being tempted to buy food from a shop on your lunch break which is more than likely going to be something you can grab and go, which isn’t always the healthiest thing you can eat.

The next thing is to try not to have a snack drawer.
Whilst it is tempting to have a drawer full of goodies for when you get a little peckish, if you don’t have one, you’ll be removing the temptation and benefit overall.
However, it is important to have some form of snacks for the day.
Instead of gravitating towards chocolate, biscuits and sweets, try to go for some healthier options.
My favourite go to snacks are nuts, dried fruits (although be careful of the sugar in these), fresh fruit and vegetable sticks and hummus.

Eat Breakfast!
This one is a biggie! I cannot stress enough the importance of eating a filling breakfast.
Breakfast is the first meal of the day and ultimately the most important, which I’m sure you’ve heard many times but it still rings true.
A good breakfast will set you up for the day, giving you lots of energy and keeping you full for a good amount of time.
If you don’t have time to eat breakfast before you leave the house then make sure you have some when you get to work.
Everyday I make myself porridge in the office and eat it at my desk, and I can tell you now, the odd days that I don’t have breakfast really take their toll on me. I feel like I have no energy which really distracts me when at work.
So make sure you eat breakfast!

Another thing I’ll say is try to make sure you’re not sitting down ALL day.
I know this is hard if you have a lot of work to do which involves you sitting at your desk, however try to take little breaks and go for a walk.
Whether this is just to the toilet or to make yourself a drink, I just think it is really important not to be sat down all day.

The last thing I’ll say is to make sure you make time for exercise!
This is a no-brainer, everyone should make time for exercise whether they work in a office or not.
As well as the obvious health benefits of exercising, it is a great stress relief, so going to the gym or a run or a cycle will be great for destressing you after a stressful day in the office.
No one is too busy to exercise, so make time, you’ll feel better for it!

That’s it for today’s post.
Like I said, I am not claiming to be an expert on fitness or eating, I just thought I’d share some tips that I’ve learnt along the way, you by no means have to listen to what I’ve said!

If you have any requests for posts, make sure you leave them below!

The Disneyland Paris Tag

image1 (3)As you might know by now (if you don’t where have you been?!) I am a huge lover of anything and everything Disney, so when I saw this tag I just HAD to do it!
I also thought I’d add in a few pictures from my trips over the years.
This tag was originally created by the wonderful Ellie Steadman who’s videos I cannot get enough of!

1. When was your first trip and how many times have you been?

My first trip to Disneyland Paris was when I was around 18 months I believe and I have been every year apart from 3 years since that trip, I am now 18 and often went more than once a year, so I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been!

This is from when my niece and I were about 3, we visited for Christmas.

This is from when my niece and I were about 3, we visited for Christmas.

2. What Disney hotels have you stayed in? One you haven’t stayed in that you’d liked too?

I’ve stayed in the Disneyland Hotel every time I’ve been apart from four times, and it is of course my favourite! The other hotels I’ve stayed in are The Magic Circus Hotel, The Explorers Hotel and The Dream Castle Hotel. A hotel I would like to stay in would be the Newport Bay Club, as it looks so picturesque and grande.

3. What’s your favourite restaurant?

I think I’d have to say my favourite is the Plaza Gardens which is located in the Disneyland Park on Main Street U.S.A, because they have the most amazing buffet! Although, I did have Annette’s Diner for the first time this year when I visited, and that is good too!

My little sister and I enjoying Walt Disney Studios

4. A restaurant you’d like to eat in that you haven’t yet?

A restaurant I’d like to eat at which I haven’t yet would be Bistrot Chez Remy in the Walt Disney Studios, as the food looks so yummy!

My niece and I when we visited for our 15th Birthdays

5. What’s your favourite quick service/fast food?

My favourite fast food is without a doubt Restaurant en Coulisse, which is located in the Walt Disney Studios, which my boyfriend and I may have had everyday for lunch when we visited in April… It is basically expensive McDonald’s but there is just something about it which makes it soooo yummy.

This year with my boyfriend for my 18th Birthday

6. What’s your favourite shop?

I can’t say I have one favourite shop, I definitely have a few. My first would be the Boardwalk Candy Palace which is on Main Street U.S.A in the Disneyland Park, simply because they do the most AMAZING candy floss, it is literally twice the size of my head, and getting that is one of the highlights of my trips to Disneyland Paris. As well as the fact I have a huge sweet tooth, so anything of the sweet kind just calls my name! Of course another favourite is World Of Disney in the Disney Village because they do so much Disney merchandise, they have everything you’re looking for! Lastly, the Walt Disney Studios Store, because there are often some hidden gems in there that you don’t actually find in the World of Disney.

7. What’s your favourite season or event?

I have visited Disneyland Paris for every season and event! It’s definitely a tie between Swing into Spring and of course Christmas! Swing into Spring is just lovely because of the colourful decorations and the colourful outfits the characters wear, as well as the fact my birthday is in during the Swing into Spring season ha ha. Then Christmas is of course Christmas! Who wouldn’t love Christmas at Disneyland Paris?! Seeing the park all decorated for Christmas really does make me so happy and I wish I could be there every year for the Christmas season.

8. Disneyland Park or Walt Disney Studios?

Difficult! I love them both equally for different reasons! Disneyland Park of course because of the nostalgia and happiness it brings me being in there. However, I definitely prefer the big rides in the Walt Disney Studios.

9. What’s your favourite ride in each park?

In the Walt Disney Studios, it’s a tie between Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will always have a special place in my heart because it was one of the first roller coasters I went on when I was younger, but The Tower of Terror I just love! I love the feeling of the drop! Then in the Disneyland Park, I think I would have to say Big Thunder Mountain. I used to drag my dad on with me over and over and over again when I was younger, and it still excites me when I go on it! Although of course, I love a bit of Space Mountain, as that was the first ever roller coaster I went on.

10. What’s your favourite land in the Disneyland Park?

I know it technically isn’t a land in the Disneyland Park, but my favourite place would have to be Main Street U.S.A, I do just really love it there, popping in the shops and staring at the castle. However, if I have to choose a land it would definitely be Fantasyland… I always wished I lived there and it’s full of the princesses!

11. What’s your favourite character meet?

As I have been going to Disneyland Paris since I was 18 months old, I can’t remember every encounter I’ve had with characters, so I can’t really decide which is my favourite. Although, I know I used to adore Goofy! As well as Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. Also, I’m not sure why but I always too a disliking to Donald Duck.. sorry Donald, we’re friends now!

image1 (4)

12. What’s your best character meet and greet experience?

Again, like I said above I can’t remember every meet and greet experience I’ve had over the years. However, when I went a few years ago, I think it was for my 15th birthday, my niece and I (she’s 11 days older than me, so we were celebrating her birthday too) had such a cute meet and greet with Tigger, he was bouncing all over the place, and was just having so much fun with us.578729_3350445196411_893036690_n

536853_3350457356715_1983267825_nimage113. What’s your happiest or best Disneyland Paris memory?

I cannot say I have a happiest or best memory at Disneyland Paris because every time has been special and magical in it’s own way, I couldn’t possibly pick just one!
However, I did really really enjoy my trip this year with my boyfriend for my 18th birthday. That was definitely a very special trip and one that I will keep with me and remember forever.
It was slightly weird as it was the first time I’d visited without my mum and dad being with me, but it made me so happy sharing my 18th Birthday with my boyfriend in the most magical place in the world!11390258_10205505631056638_2973866041363592376_n

I hope you enjoyed reading about my Disneyland Paris experience, let me know if you do this tag as I’d love to read other people’s experiences!

I saw this tag on Elizabeth’s blog so make sure you go over there and check her answers out!

Autumn Wish List

Hello! I’m back!
After a long break, for no other reason than I have been busy and started to lack motivation, I’m here with a new post.
I can’t promise that posts will be regular as I currently have a broken MacBook which makes writing, editing and uploading posts quite difficult, which is another reason I haven’t been able to post.
I will however try my very best and if you want to stay updated with what I’m doing day to day, give my Twitter and Instagram a follow as I always post on there!

Anyway, without further ado, here is my Autumn Wishlist!

image1 (3)image1 (2)

You may notice a theme in here… I may have an obsession with almost all of River Islands clothes, in fact I had to try and limit myself as to how many clothes from River Island I stuck in here… six out of the eight items isn’t bad.. right?!

RI Beige wrap shirtRI Grey wrap shirt

Recently I’ve been drawn to beige and tan colours so I instantly wanted this beige wrap front shirt when I saw it on the River Island website. The colour is the perfect colour to pair with either blue or black jeans and a pair of tan boots for the Autumn season. I already have this shirt in white and I love it! The material is so comfortable and falls so nicely that it looks like you’ve got a really put together chic outfit. I then saw it in this dark grey colour which of course is going to be great for the Autumn/Winter where I tend to wear darker colours. I plan to get both of these eventually, because who doesn’t need the same shirt in three different colours? I do!

RI Tan Boots

What screams Autumn more than a pair of tan ankle boots? As soon as September came I was on the hunt for the perfect pair of tan ankle boots. I stumbled across this pair on ASOS by River Island. I like that they’re not just plain as they have a bit of character on them with the buckles at the side. Tan ankle boots will look great with all sorts of outfits, especially skinny jeans which is what I wear almost everyday!

Topshop jeans

The next thing I really want is this pair of jeans from Topshop.. well sort of! I went shopping in Cambridge last week and tried on the most perfect pair of Topshop Joni jeans – my favourite kind, narrowly beating the Leighs – which were the same as these with the rips in the knees, however they were very slightly different in colour. For some reason I decided not to buy them, but took the product number so if I wanted to I could order them online, then when I looked online they weren’t there! I know, I’m kicking myself for not buying them! Hopefully, I’ll be able to pick them up in another store ASAP, however if not, this colour is extremely similar, so I’ll get these instead. I’m in desperate need of new jeans as mine all seem to be too short for me now!

RI Pink Cross over top

The next thing I spotted is this pink wrap front top from.. you guessed it.. River Island. Okay, I’ll admit it.. yes I already have this top in a different colour too.. I have it in grey! But I love it so much! It is a thin knitwear material, not quite as thick as a jumper but thicker than your everyday t-shirt. The reason I love it is because it is another one of those tops that you can easily throw on and still look put together. As you can see it crosses over at the front which means you can wear it without anything underneath, however as it is not actually pinned together there, it can sometimes fall away, so I often wear mine with a vest. I really want to get this colour as it is such a cute light pink which again, I think would go with the jeans I often wear.

RI Brown Asymetric top

Another top I want from River Island is this brown asymmetric one. I’ve seen this in River Island for a while but have never got round to buying it, however I think it would be great for the coming Autumn months! I love the fact that it is asymmetric and that one sleeve is longer than the other. Like I said, I’ve been drawn to beige’s and tans recently.

Office over the knee boots

Okay so.. these boots from Office are to die for! All last year I was looking for the perfect knee high/over the knee boots but I just never found a pair that I was willing to pay out for as I just never really fell in love with a pair. However, I tried these on in Office recently and I love them! They’re over the knee so obviously come quite high up, I didn’t think I would like them when I saw they were over the knee but I really did! They’re made from suede so they fit perfectly. Hopefully I will treat myself to them soon.

RI ScarfThe last thing on my wishlist is of course from River Island and it is this scarf. I’m not really a scarf kind of girl, unless I find a scarf I really love, which I had one last year! I really love the pattern and colours of this scarf, so hopefully it is made from a nice material! Which, if it is I will definitely purchase it for when it really does start to get chilly!

That is it for my Autumn Wishlist!
Once again, I am very sorry that I have been MIA recently, I don’t seem to be good at managing my time, however I am desperately working on that. I have a few ideas for future blog posts, which I will try and post as soon as possible. It is however a little hard with the fact my MacBook is broken.

I hope you enjoyed this, let me know what you’re wishing for this Autumn!

Summer Haul

Before my holiday to Barcelona I went on a ‘little’ shopping spree. I was in need of a few summer pieces to wear in sunny Spain so thought why not treat myself.

First I popped into boots as I was after a nice red nail varnish. I found this one from Barry M, in the shade ‘Blood Orange’, which is the perfect bright red colour. It was 3 for 2 in boots so I thought I’d also pick up a base & topcoat as mine had gone missing oops.. and a red lip gloss, in the shade ‘At The End Of The Day’ , also from Barry M. I love lipglosses and this one is the perfect muted red colour.IMG_1079.JPG IMG_1080.JPG IMG_1081.JPGIMG_1084.JPGI popped into Office on two different occasions. The first time I went in there I picked up this gorgeous pair of Nike Roshe Runs, which I had been lusting over for ages and knew I just had  to get them as they were in the sale! Definitely a sign to buy them, right?! Perhaps an impulse and unnecessary purchase, but I won’t admit that…

I was then on the look out for a nice pair of black sandals to wear about Barcelona and saw this pair and fell in love. When I first tried them on, I don’t think I done them up correctly which made it feel like I needed a size smaller than usual. Unfortunately, this was just me being silly and when I wore them for the day around Barcelona, they gave me raging blisters. I would definitely recommend these however, and if you’re interested in them, they’re in the sale here!
IMG_1078.JPGIMG_1085.JPGIMG_1086.JPGAnother sale scoop was this Victoria Secret’s Pink gym top. I often go to the gym and really love buying new pieces for the gym.. Sad right? I’m sure it motivates me to go more though! Again, I’d seen this when it was full price and loved it, but just didn’t feel like I really needed to buy it. However when it was in the sale for HALF PRICE I couldn’t resist and snapped that bad boy up straight I then went into River Island on two different occasions. The first time I went in there my eyes were immediately drawn to this bright yellow, kimono style dress. Now, I am not normally a yellow girl, I love the colour, it just never normally seems to suit me, but I loved the look of the dress so much that I thought I’d try it on anyway. Luckily I decided to try it on because I loved it once it was on! It’s really light and airy making it the perfect dress to thrown on to go down the beach or just for lounging in on a hot summers day.away!IMG_1082.JPG

IMG_1090.JPGIMG_1091.JPGI also went into River Island on two different occasions. It’s really light and airy making it the perfect dress to thrown on to go down the beach or just for lounging in on a hot summers day.
IMG_1095.JPGIMG_1094.JPGIMG_1092.JPGI then went back a few days later on the hunt for more summer clothes. I picked up two pairs of shorts that are both high-waisted, one which is a white lace material, the other a cotton material with white and black stripes and green/gold palm trees. I loved wearing these in Barcelona as they were SO comfortable and looked great thrown on with a black vest top and flip flops for a relaxed feel but chic look.

IMG_1096.JPG IMG_1097.JPG

I’d also been looking for some shirt dresses as they’re so easy to just throw on with a pair of flip flops whilst still looking put together and like you’ve made an effort. I found this lovely striped dress and felt so comfortable in it as soon as I put it on. This will also still be good in the winter thrown on with a pair of tights, so it’s a good year-round piece.

Topshop was the last shop I went into for clothes for holiday. As soon as I walked into the shop I spotted this amazing jumpsuit, tried it on and fell in love with it straight away. It’s a lovely thin material and loose material which makes it the perfect piece for a summers day. I love the pattern as it is just so bright and summery! Again, this is such a good piece to chuck on and still look like you’ve made half an effort – when really you’ve rolled out of bed late and put on the first thing you saw in your cupboard, haha.
IMG_1093.JPGLastly, I got this cute little black bag which was just what I was looking for to take to Barcelona with me. Barcelona is renowned for pick pockets, so it was important to me to find a bag that I could sling across my body and was small enough to keep close to my body.

It has three compartments, two outside zip compartments and a middle section which clips together. I loved using this round Barcelona, and still use it now that I’m home if I don’t feel like taking a big bag out with me. It also works wonders on a night out as you can just sling it across you and don’t have to worry about leaving it on the side somewhere – which may have happened to me on a night out before… oops…

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I bought before I went on my holiday to Barcelona.

I have recently started a full time job so am slightly struggling with getting blogposts typed up and posted, however please bare with me as I try my best!
