You might remember in my ‘What I Got For My 19th Birthday‘ post that I mentioned my boyfriend was taking me away somewhere in May as a surprise.
Well that place was the Crazy Bear Hotel in Beaconsfield and it was absolutely amazing.
So a big round of applause for my gorgeous boyfriend.
The Crazy Bear Group is a hotel chain with three hotels around the country, one in Beaconsfield, one in Stadhampton and one in Fitrovia.
They’re known for having eccentric and out there hotels which are different to your normal everyday hotel.
Today I thought I’d share a few pictures with you that I took whilst we were there.
The first thing I had to say about the hotel when we walked in was ‘wow‘.
It was just simply amazing and everywhere you looked there was something edgy and cool staring right back at you.
These were just the public bathrooms! Look how much detail there has been put into them!!
After a long walk around the pretty area of Beconsfield which appeared to be the sleepiest old town but so beautiful too we finally got into our room.
Again, all I could say when I saw our room was wow!
It had a really dark interior which actually made the room feel really cosy!
We had our own kitchen and dining area which you walked through to get into the actual room with the bed, bath, toilet and sofas. We even had a private patio bit!
The bath was copper, it was absolutely huge AND it filled up from the ceiling! How cool is that?!
To dinner I wore a black pair of cigarette pants and black crop top from River Island with my black suede/patent heels from Kurt Geiger that I bought last year. Check out those abs!
We headed to the English restaurant for dinner – there is also a Thai restaurant – where I had lobster Mac n Cheese, YUMMY, and George had a pork mixed grill.
As you can see my portion of Mac n Cheese was h u g e and I just could not finish it all!!
After dinner we went back to the room for a bit to watch some telly and let our dinner go down before we went for a dip in the pool.
We sat in the jacuzzi in the dark for a little while which was really nice and relaxing and then headed back to our room for the night armed with snacks ready to watch some tv.
In the morning we went to the bar for a classic continental breakfast and it was lovely.
Of course I tucked into a few crossaints and pain au chocolates – my all time favourite breakfast food if you didn’t know – along side some green tea to rid our bodies of the junk food we’d eaten the night before!!
After breakfast we chilled in the room for a little bit before packing up and making our way to Bicester Village – a designer outlet – which was about 45 minutes from the hotel.
I only bought a couple of bits in Bicester, two Ralph Lauren Shirts and a Kate Spade Handbag, however I’ll be showing those in a collective haul soon!
That’s all from my little trip to the Crazy Bear Hotel.
I absolutely loved it and am so grateful that George chose to take me there for my birthday treat – he really is a special one!!!
I don’t believe my pictures actually do this amazing place enough justice so if you ever get the chance to visit a Crazy Bear Hotel then definitely do it!!
