The Christmas Tag

The lovely Elizabeth tagged me to do this Christmas tag and of course I couldn’t decline, as I love a good tag as much as the next person, and of course I love Christmas too!
I thought I’d include a throw back photo of when I was in 9 Years Old and visited the real Father Christmas – no really! We visited Lapland for the day, which is the home of the real Father Christmas, it was one of the best days of my life!

1. What one word to describes how excited you are for Christmas?
Very, although I don’t feel as festive this year compared to the past…

2. What’s the best present you have ever been given, and why?
I have received many presents over the years and obviously I can’t remember them all, although I greatly appreciate all the presents I’ve got, especially when they’re something thoughtful or that I’d been wishing for for ages. One of the best presents I remember being given was my yorkshire terrier cross jack russell puppy, she was so cute!
3. What’s the worst present you have ever been given, and why?
I can’t say I distinctively remember receiving a really bad present, but we all receive those gifts that we’re a bit like ‘eh’ when we open them, because they’re just a bit useless…
4. What’s your favourite Christmas song?
One Christmas song?! Oh I couldn’t possibly choose! I love Michael Buble’s Christmas album, who doesn’t! As well as many other Christmas songs – I’ve got a whole playlist on my phone.
5. What’s you favourite Christmas film?
I love Elf, I only actually watched it properly last year and since then I have loved it. I also really love Love Actually, I feel like it’s such a classic Christmas film, as well as The Holiday!
6. How good are you at wrapping presents?
Not great! I love wrapping presents but the end product is never quite what I imagine in my head.
7. If you could rename one of Santa’s Reindeer, what would you name it?
Hmm, difficult… definitely something Disney, I’m liking Thumper!
8. What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
Of course it’s lovely to receive presents, don’t even pretend it’s not, but the best thing about Christmas is having a well deserved rest and spending quality time with family! I love that for a few days from Christmas to New Year, there’s nothing to worry about, apart from enjoying yourself and seeing friends and family.

Christmas Wish List

Well we are well and truly on our way to Christmas! Today I thought I would take a break from writing gift guides and write a wish list of things I actually want for Christmas, because no reason! Let me know if you get that reference…collage-2015-12-04

Minnie Mouse Personalised Mug £10.00
I’ve wanted this cute personalised Minnie Mouse mug since I featured it in my Disney Store Wish List post. I love anything Disney as you already know by now, as well as mugs, I honestly love mugs so much! I think this one is super cute as it’s personalised.

Paperchase Elephant Year Diary £10.00
Something you might not know is how much I love Elephants! I also really love year diaries and writing down everything I’m doing and when – so put those two together and you get this gorgeous creation! It’s an A6 size which is the perfect size to keep in your handbag.

Cinnamon Stick Yankee Candle £21.99
I’m really into candles at the moment, especially as the weather is now getting cooler, there is nothing cosier than getting in from the cold, lighting a candle and snuggling up watching TV!

Blogger Planner £34.99
As soon as I saw this I feel in love! I think this is a perfect present for any blogger and I really hope I get it and can use it in the new year. It has so many different sections in it and will be great for helping me get more organised with my blog. If I do get it, I will definitely be reviewing it on here!

Victoria Secret Fireside Pyjamas £37.60
Need I say more? As you already know as I’ve mentioned it many times, I love pyjamas so much, I just want to buy every pair of pyjamas I see. One day I will get a pair of Victoria Secret pyjamas!

12 Days of Christmas Lush Gift Set £49.95
I love having a relaxing bath, with a candle flickering and watching Youtube and adding a lush product to that bath would make it even better! I love the look of this gift set from Lush as it has all the Christmas products in it which all look so cute and festive.

Ugg Slippers £69.00
These look so cosy! I don’t really wear slippers that much, I much prefer wear thick fluffy socks, but I would definitely wear these! I know they do basically an exact match of these in Primark, so if I don’t get these slippers (which I doubt I will) I think I’ll pop to Primark and get some of those.

Zoeva Complete Set Vol. 1 £87.00
I love this set so much! I’m in dire need in some new makeup brushes. As much as I love my Real Techniques brushes which I’ve re-purchased many times now I feel like I need a change of brand and this set is calling my name right now.
This is another thing that if I don’t get for Christmas – which I won’t because I haven’t asked for them ha ha – that I’ll buy for myself.

Russel & Bromley Reserve boots £435.00
Oh my goodness! These boots are the most gorgeous boots that I have ever seen! I’ve been searching for a knee high pair of boots for ages now, literally since last year, I just could never find a pair that fit just right. However, as soon as I tried these boots on I instantly fell in love. They genuinely fit so perfectly on me and I really hope Santa brings me these for Christmas!

Aspinal of London Mini Marylebone Bag £595.00
Handbags are my weakness. My dream is to have a closet dedicated to designer handbags.
This mini Marylebone Aspinal of London handbag is so beautiful, it’s such good quality, a great size and the colour is amazing, it’s my favourite colour and I really feel like it could go well with a lot of things I wear.

Dalmatian Puppy
Last on the list is a dalmatian puppy.
I’ve been obsessed with dalmatians genuinely since I was about 3 years old and watched 101 Dalmatians. I had everything dalmatian themed and have always since then dreamed of owning my own dalmatian. I just think they’re such beautiful animals and have such a wonderful nature about them. Whenever I see one I just have to stroke it.
Of course I know I won’t be getting a dalmatian for Christmas, but a girl can dream, right?
I hope one day I do get my dream!

I hope you enjoyed this post. What are you wishing for this Christmas?

Day Out: Lavenham Christmas Fair

Last weekend, my best friend (who is featured in this post) and I decided to go to her local Christmas fair, which was in Lavenham.
It was the cutest little fair, definitely something you’d expect to find in a little oldy-woldy town like Lavenham.
Whilst there we thought we’d take some outfit photos.
I’ll leave details of our outfits below.

Next Christmas Socks – £12
Starting with the cheapest thing in this gift guide which are Christmas socks. Personally, I think socks are quite a foolproof present as everyone always need socks, especially as we all know, they all end up disappearing somewhere eventually! Also, seeing as it’s Christmas then you may as well go for some jazzy Christmas themed socks!

Black Moleskin Week to View 2016 Diary – £17
I picked out a year diary as I think this is a great present, as most people I know have year diaries, and if they don’t already have one, it can be a good prompt for them to become more organised! I love the look of this super sleek black moleskin diary, from Paperchase, which has a week to each 2 pages.

Glenn Lossie Scarf – £20
I picked out this scarf as it has a classic wintery pattern on it and you can’t really go wrong with a scarf at Christmas, especially as the weather will be getting colder!

Next Onesie – £38
Who doesn’t love a onesie?! One of the best things about Christmas/Winter is snuggling up in some cosy pjs/onesie and watching a film with some popcorn! My dad actually has this onesie and it so soft and super cosy, he loves it.

Gucci Guilty Pour Homme Gift Set – £39.95
I think it’s always a nice to get a pour home gift set,  whether it’s for your dad, brother or boyfriend, I feel like it’s a present that doesn’t go amiss. Plus, if you’re buying it for your boyfriend, you can pick out a pour home that you like, that way he’ll be wearing a smell you love!

Dents Leather Gloves – £48

Another good gift for Christmas would be some leather gloves. Like I said, with Christmas comes Winter and colder weather, so gloves are definitely going to come in handy – haha see what I did there?!

RJR John Rocha Grey Sherpa Dressing Gown £50

Okay, so aren’t dressing gowns just the best?! Like a onesie, they’re so cosy and especially nice to snuggle up in at this time of year. I love the look of this one as it is all Sherpa lined with a over sized hood, which means it would be super cosy. Plus, if you really wanted to, you could buy this for your boyfriend and then pinch it to wear it yourself!

Ted Baker Leather Satchel Bag £109
I love the look of this Ted Baker bag. It would make a great office bag as it has a padded compartment inside for your laptop, as well as space for other bits and bobs and a pocket for your phone. Also it has both a handle and a long strap so it’s very easy to carry.

Aspinal of London Sterling Silver Engraved Cufflinks £125
Cufflinks are another great present as they’ll always come in handy, especially if you’re buying them for a guy that works in an office or wear suits regularly. These cufflinks from Aspinal of London are extra special as they can be engraved which would be a lovely present that the guy in your life could keep forever.

Star Wars BB8 Droid – £129.95
If you know a man who is quite into their techy toys, as well as Star Wars, then this would be a great present. This little BB-8 droid is going to be appearing in the new Star Wars movie and is a super cool little tech toy. You can use your phone to roll the droid around the place, as well as control it with your voice, PLUS it also has the ability to create and play holographic recordings! I feel like I want this for myself now.

Hugo Boss Leather Wallet & Card Holder £139
I love the look of this Hugo Boss leather wallet and card holder especially as they match – who doesn’t love things that match?! I certainly do and I know my boyfriend does too! I think it’s a great idea having both the wallet and card holder, as you can chop and change between the two whenever you feel like it.

Barbour Jacket £249
I love this Barbour jacket and I think a jacket is a good present for any guy, and once again because it’s now colder weather then a jacket will definitely be appreciated. I’ve bought my boyfriend many coats over the years and they have always been well loved and used.

Philips Electric Shaver £284.99
I picked out an electric shaver as I feel like it’s an essential for any man to have. Especially as it will last a very long time and will always come in handy.

Emporio Armani Stainless Steel Watch £329
For the last physical gift, I picked out this Armani watch. I personally love the look of this, and from experience, I know that Emporio Armani watches are good value for money as they work brilliantly and are very good quality. A watch is a great present as it is something that can be kept for a life time and is something special you can wear everyday.

Experience Day

Similarly to my ‘Christmas Gift Guide: For Her’, the last thing in my gift guide would be an experience day. I feel like this is a great idea as there are so many different experience days you can get that there is literally something there for everyone! I think it also a nice way to show you have put some extra thought into a present as you’ve found a day especially for the man in your life, as well as it being something he might not normally get to do.

That’s it for my ‘Christmas Gift Guide: For Him’, I hope you enjoyed and perhaps took some inspiration from it!
I’ll be posting one or two gift guides I believe, so keep an eye out for those.
